Theory of Knowledge
This was a mandatory two-semester class taken for the IB, dealing the the origins knowledge and the many ways through which it can be acquired, its limitations, and other such topics with a philosophical lilt.
One of my genuinely favorite classes; the final essay is an analytic piece based on Christopher Hitchen’s quote: ‘That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.’
The essay required concrete examples of the conundrum in action that acknowledged various viewpoints, and it was actually a very engaging piece to write!
